iphone 6 plus pre-order delivery

Hi everyone!

I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 Plus (64GB Space Gray) on Sept 12th as early as I could (at 4:30 A.M. through the apple store app on my iPhone 5). I tried to order it earlier, but as many of us know the Apple store online was down. I was so very disappointed. During the checkout time, my estimated delivery was Oct 1 - Oct 6 and it would be available to ship in 7-10 business days. My email confirmation stated the same thing.

This is also my first time I have ever pre-ordered an iPhone. My current phone is in pretty bad shape. The menu button popped off a couple weeks ago (it's currently being held on with scotch tape...lmao) and my screen freezes up all the time. I'm lucky if I can answer phone calls. Its not reliable at all to say the least. I have been trying to hold out for the new iPhone 6.

I have been checking my order status relentlessly since I pre-ordered and of course, it still says "Processing Items", with the same estimated delivery date and shipping time. I'm am desperately hoping it arrives earlier than October 1st - October 6th?!

Do any of you know if I will ONLY be getting my phone during Oct 1 - Oct 6 or do I have a chance of getting it earlier?

Does anyone know where all they usually ship from?

Do they usually ship via Fedex or UPS?

That is pretty fast mine is not coming until November 27. Yea that right t November 27. I order one but after seeing this lead time im going to either have to order all 32 line right now or move to a different phone.

Oct 1 - Oct 6 is usually conservative. You will probably get it sooner. You'll get another email when it ships.

Does anyone know where all they usually ship from?

Pre-orders were shipped from China for the same reason they are built over there cheap labor. Apple will probably continue this until all early orders are filled.

Do they usually ship via Fedex or UPS?

Again pre-orders came UPS. No idea if they will continue to use them only.

Ordered my iPhone 6 plus 128 GB 5 a.m. on the 12th. Apple store staring showing preparing for shipping yesterday with a delivery date of Oct 1 thru 6,

Just got the shipped email a few minutes ago. It now shows shipped on September 20, 2014, and UPS tracking has it coming from China with a 9/25 delivery date.

Thank you! Wow, you ordered yours not long after I ordered mine! And my order still hasn't shipped or even prepared for shipping. Still says "processing items" with the same order dates of Oct 1 - Oct 6 and ships within 7 - 10 business days! 😟

I wonder if it would have been better to just opt to pick up my order in an apple store instead of having it delivered???

Difference could be I ordered the 128GB and you ordered the 64 GB

You might be right. I thought about that. And I kept going back and forth between which one to get too! I was SO close to ordering the 128GB, but I have a 32GB iPhone 5 now and I still haven't used all the space on it. I just couldn't justify spending $100 more for something I don't need. But I DO wish my phone had shipped by now! My 5 is on its last leg!

Expect to get your phone in the time frame stated on the order status - Oct 1-6, but may arrive earlier

Apple doesn't announce from where they ship. Could be from any number of locations, including Ch.ina. My pre-ordered iPhone 6 was shipped UPS from within USA. My pre-ordered iPhone 6 Plus is still being processed, to ship in "7-10 days."

Both UPS and Fedex are used. When your phone actually ships, you will get a tracking number which shows you the carrier.

I'm not sure! As of my last update from UPS, mine is there right now too.

My estimated delivery date is by end of day on Wednesday, so I'm sure it won't be there long. There's an option to have UPS send you notifications every time there is a shipping update, that way you can track where its at.

Right I after I posted the status changed to depart Shanghai Flight tracker is cool ... I guess next stop is Alaska ... My phone is getting a world tour.
