Just got my 6 today and really pleased with it although the touch id sensor glass seems a little 'loose' and they is definitely a little play in it. My neighbours is the same also. We have the 64gig white & black.
I read that the 5s there was a slight issue with the sensor button.
Anyone else confirm that there new 6 has the same problem?
The button performs multiple functions. In addition to the "press", it also has to read your fingerprint and the multi touch for screen zoom. It should have some "play" in it.

It seems a little more 'clacky' on the press.. sometime you get a nice firm click press... and then you'll get a 'clacky' loose style click. Something that appears in numerous threads about the iPhone 5s sensor.
Probably because the 5s was the first iPhone with the multi-input sensor to begin with.
I Have had the iPhone 6 for almost a month now and the Touch ID sensor seems to be loose. There is a loud click even before i press down firmly on it, almost like a double click. it works fine but I don't want this problem to get worse. Can I get this fixed at the Apple Store?
You would need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have the device looked at. We are users like you and cannot say what Apple will do. They make the final decisions on what they will and will not do. However, if they find the device to be defective, they will honor your warranty, unless there is physical damage to the device.
I Had this exact problem and what i found was that you'd be amazed that like anything Can get in little stuff like this, rain, grease all stuff just give it a blow and mine worked it got rid of the looseness.
