Sep 19, 2014 8:59 AM in response to jimbyhby Kilgore-Trout,Since there is no mention specifically of iTunes Match (http://www.apple.com/icloud/family-sharing/), and it is a very different service than those involved in Family Share, I would assume it is not included. iTunes purchased music is, however.

Sep 19, 2014 8:38 PM in response to Kilgore-Troutby Christopher Graham5,via Family purchases and payments
"With Family Sharing, one adult in the family—the family organizer—agrees to pay for any iTunes, iBooks, and App Store purchases that other family members initiate while they're part of the family group. This also includes ongoing subscription purchases initiated by family members, such as iCloud storage, iTunes Match, and Newsstand subscriptions."
Even though I found that, I cannot get iTunes match to activate on any other added account.

Sep 20, 2014 12:10 AM in response to Christopher Graham5by ssschmidt,The way that I read that article, if a family member "subscribes" to iTunes match, the organizer will be billed for the subscription. Not that it is "shared" between individuals.

Sep 20, 2014 12:11 AM in response to Christopher Graham5by mummerx,Agreed, I read the same information and was assuming that the iTunes Match would look just as it did when we were just using one account. i.e. 4 seperate accounts in my case merged into one view for easy browsing & downloading if desired.
The current method of having to click on itunes app, then purchased, then the name of the family member, then the download button is too long. Currently once you hit download on one item it bounces you back out and you have to start again for the next one. And, then in future I will have to have razor sharp memory to remember who originally bought the song that I now want to download......
Not what I was expecting...

Sep 20, 2014 2:13 AM in response to mummerxby Brian Bock,This is problematic. The way everyone I know has been handling the iTunes problem is they've used the same Apple ID and password on their family devices. We thought this was over with the Family Sharing. The problem comes because all of our music is in my Match file. I don't even keep it on the computer anymore. So to do this I'd have to download all my music to a computer. Transfer it to the other person's user account. Add iTunes Match subscription to their account, and then upload all that music back up again. All so Apple can make another $24 a year? Ugh.
