How do I reset an apple ID where it seems my personal questions have been overridden and it isn't connected to my email? I have tried answering the personal questions, but it says my birthday is wrong. I have tried sending the email and it should be linked to my email i use everyday, but i never get the email. It is the apple id however that comes up as the default for my phone when i update the operating system, and the one that is connected to my iCloud. Help please!

You may need to contact Apple Support in this case.
Contact Apple Support in either of these circumstances:
- You don't see the link to send a reset email, which means you don't have a rescue address.
- You see the link to send a reset email, but you don't have access to email at the rescue address.
A temporary support PIN isn't usually required, but Apple may ask you to generate a PIN if your identity needs to be verified.
