Hey all,
I've just managed to install vSphere 5.5 on one of my two xserve 2009s.
I would like to max out the RAM in my xserves (they currently only have 6GB). I have 1x2.26GHz in each machine (would love to upgrade this but not sure how) and there are 6 slots for RAM. I have seen that the maximum memory is 24GB for the quad-core version when using it for mac os x but is it possible to put more RAM in since I am using vSphere? Is there a specific type of RAM i should use for vSphere?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
