Emergency contact "null"?

5s 16gig iOS 8.

I set up my Medical Id on HealthKit and I added my girlfriend(android) mom(ios) dad(ios) and brother(android) to the emergency contact list. My girlfriend, mom, and dad all show their names with their phone number displayed below. My brother on the other hand shows no phone number AND when I click it to call it just says "null" and does not connect. At first I though this might be because he's on android, but my girlfriend is on android so that should not be the case. I know its only been 24 hrs of iOS 8, but is this a problem on anyone's radar at apple?

I also noticed that there are contacts that show up grey and un-addable when trying to add them to the emergency contact list(I wasn't actually interested in adding them, I just noticed that I couldn't for any obvious reason)

I deleted my brothers contact info, deleted the Facebook contact info that gets auto added. Added him again as a new contact then merged the new auto added Facebook contact that followed, then added him to my emergency contact list and this time it worked...

Granted this fixed the problem, its not intuitive, nor is it "apple" and I'm sure this will be annoying to other people.
