MBP Late 2011 Shut Down Problem

About two days ago I noticed this problem and I thought i was a fluke but every time I execute shutdown it pauses and then restarts. During the restart a white screen with many languages on it appears stating that something along the lines of went wrong. When it finally load to the desktop I get the report error option dialogue box. What should I do? This is the first problem I've ever had.
