Keyboard no longer works with Citrix Receiver after upgrading to OSX 10.9.5

I use Citrix Receiver to connect to my office systems when I work from home. The office systems are Windows 7 based and I work at home on a Imac. Up to yesterday everything worked like a dream. Then I upgraded from OSX 10.9.4 to 10.9.5 and sine then my keyboard has stooped responding when I am connected to my office system. When I close Citrix the keyboard works OK. I tried to connect using a MacBook still on 10.9.4 and there are no problems with the keyboard in Citrix. What do I do to get the keyboard to work under 10.9.5?

I have it too but the solution is simple by switching focus to the OSX Desktop and back.

Change focus to the OSX desktop (cmd -tab)

Then click on the active Citrix Ciewer in the dock.

Then you can type again.

I hope it works for you as well.

Verified with the same issue. I can not believe the number of issues that have cropped up since updating to OS 10.9.5. Same goes for the update to iTunes 11.4 and iOS 8. Obviously not the same group of Apple engineers that have been around in the past (pre-Tim Cook era). I am very disappointed in the product and hope for fixes soon.

Citrix Receiver is upgraded to 11.9.0. http://discussions.citrix.com/topic/356870-receiver-for-mac-119-tech-preview-for -os-x-yosemite/

It works good together with OSX 10.10 Yosemite.

I think they did a great job releasing an update so soon after the release of Yosemite.

I upgraded to Yosemite on a mid 2011 iMac. It all performs better that OSX 10.9.5. No issues so far.
