iphone 5s not showing as a device
I have an iPhone 5s with IOS8 which connects to iTunes but will not appear as a device in finder or iPhoto
When you connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes, you should see a dialog appear on your iPhone, asking to confirm that you trust this mac. Have you done that? After confirming this, iPhoto and Image Capture should be able to see your iPhone.
