After installing ios8 on ipad2 a lot of my app icons have blank pictureson the homescreen. How do i fix this?

I have encountered this also--my best guess is that these apps have not yet developed icons for IOS 8. I think we will see them updated eventually.
I have the same issue. I did notice the "blank" apps are actually web apps. Think I need to just redo them.
My first reply was incorrect. I have discovered that if I delete the affected app and then download it again, the icon reappears.
