Feb 10, 2015 9:19 AM in response to Fastman314by tharrison921,If anyone is still having trouble, I can tell you what finally worked for me (after trying EVERYTHING on this thread! ). Go to settings, mail, your account, advanced settings. Here turn off the "Use SSL" setting. That was it. Everything worked after that. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Feb 11, 2015 11:21 AM in response to Fastman314by KitCloudkicker81,Has anyone actually found a fix for this?
I have the issue only on the Iphone6 running IOS 8.1.2 or 8.1.3
I also have Iphone 5's on the network that are fine running the same revision.
I am not an Apple guy, so if anyone has any idea what to check on the device itself, we might be able to figure this out..
As i am a Sr. Microsoft Exchange Systems Engineer.
From the exchange side..
There are a few things that were mentioned here..
Multiple devices and a limitation are caused by the setting called ThrottlingPolicy and can be any number. Although the default is 10 in Microsoft exchange.
The logging into the system with SSL vs TLS vs Basic and ports are all controlled by the Client Hub transport services on the exchange server. This is 100% dependent on your environment. It really doesn't make much of a difference what it is, as long as you have your client side device configured correctly to connect to it. There are additional variables here though, which can do with certificates, etc.. so you want to check with your exchange admins and they should be able to tell you what the settings are on the exchange server so that you can connect.
In addition to this, there are also documentation links for Microsoft TechNet and Microsoft MSDN that indicate that there are known issues with active sync and the iphone devices, but while active sync is an open code, the apple side is not, so you may need to reach out to apple on this.
I have a current BUG case open with Apple, after indicating that this will really play into whether we scrap use of apple and go with Android on our next purchase. That being said i should get an update as to what is the ultimate fix, and provide details on this case once i do.. At minimal maybe that will help you all out..
If anyone has any Exchange questions, or Has any questions about IOS with Exchange, i can see if we can just get to the bottom of this..

May 21, 2015 10:13 AM in response to KitCloudkicker81by Bryan 54321,We have found we always have to "Enable Inheritance" in order to get a phone to work on our newly installed Exchange server, mostly Apple but I do think I've had to use that for android devices also. Because of your background, do you know how we can get the server to always "Enable Inheritance" rather than pressing the button for each device?

Jun 25, 2015 12:55 AM in response to Firstwatch13by valerina99,Thank you! I was having this exact problem on my iphone 6. You were correct the problem was that I had too many devices set up in OWA Exchange. Deleting the old devices fixed the problem.

Jun 26, 2015 5:08 AM in response to Fastman314by Happy Hooker,Hi All. We recently replaced all our iPhone 4's and 5's with 6's. Most of the new phones were easily set up with no problems however the last one in the pile caused me grief. All the local settings were the same as the others - all the "checks" appeared as expected - but the dreaded Automatic Replies - Loading just kept on...and on.....and on !
Our IT bods got involved and did a reset on all the permissions on the Server for the particular user - and hey presto! Email were coming through in about 45 seconds. I should also add that I checked the users OWA account to ensure there were no old phones listed there too.
Hope this assists

Jun 30, 2015 8:33 AM in response to Fastman314by bethanie2384,Well I figured out my issue...
My companies exchange only allows up to 10 devices activated on exchange, and my iPhone 6 was the 11th. Just had to remove an old phone through the exchange web app and it worked like a charm.
You could be having something similar going on.

Sep 24, 2015 4:53 PM in response to Ganiiby turbocharged,I am using google Apps for business (no two steps authentication) and Exchange calendar stops syncing after iOS 9 update (now running on iOS 9.0.1) . It is happening both on iPad and iPhone and started after the update.
I have already tried resetting both devices (and set up as new device without restoring from iCloud backups), it works for a few hours and then it stops again. The temporary solutions of either disabling the calendar sync and re-enable it or deleting the Exchange account and setting it up again, works for only a few hours.
Does anyone else experiencing the same problem?
