Sep 19, 2014 7:16 PM in response to SCOCHOby MichelPM,You can't.
The 21 inch screen! ultra thin iMac models have no way to upgrade the RAM.
These iMac models are sealed up computing appliances, now.
If you try and open this model iMac yourself and attempt to upgrade the RAM, you will void any of the first free year of AppleCare warranty your iMac may have left and your iMac will no longer be eligible for purchase and registration of additonal two years of extended AppleCare OR any servicing through any Apple store except Apple authorised resellers/repair centers.

Please view this article: https://idesk.corp.apple.com/portal/auth/portal/view%3FarticleID=HT1423 (iMac: How to remove or install memory).
Also:
Memory replacement on the iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012) and iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) is not user-removable and must be done by an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
