Sep 27, 2014 8:54 AM in response to @nkitby Rotciv,Notice this issue when I had to turn off my router and the iPhone lost it's wifi connection. Could not reconnect to the router or find any other wireless network.
I would suggest sending a feedback to Apple about this issue.

Sep 27, 2014 9:50 AM in response to marino9611by msa27,I hope someone from Apple is monitoring this site. Three days apps will not update, iOS8.0. Support told me to update to iOS8.02. Can't do that over WIFI or Cell network. Supports tells me have to link to iTUNES and do this. That takes three trys. Did that. Apps still not updating. Read online that resetting network settings will help. Did that App's hanging and not updating.
Apple how does this happen. Night before iOS8.0 release you pull things because of some security issue. Then you have iOS8.01 fiasco and now this. Can someone get this right. We use these things for more than just phones now. FIX IT

Sep 27, 2014 10:54 AM in response to msa27by BCinNYC,As many people as possible have to call and let Apple know that this is a problem because they really haven't acknowledged it as being a problem as of yet.

Sep 27, 2014 12:58 PM in response to Bkklein35by Bkklein35,Today is Day 4 of not dropping Wi-F not just at my home but also my business. Each have completely different network setups. before the full iOS 8 restore though iTunes I was dropping Wi-Fi multiple times through out the day. if I tried to rejoin Wi-Fi a search would show NO networks in range until I power cycled the phone. One thing I wanted to add I don't know if it made a difference but after doing the restore iTunes prompted me to update my carrier setting with AT&T from 17.0 to 17.1

Sep 27, 2014 2:12 PM in response to Bkklein35by BCinNYC,Is your problem resolved. What devices were you having the problem with and what were their specs in terms of memory? How long did the process take, was it recommended that you follow the approach by Apple and how long has it been working correctly, if resolved?

Sep 27, 2014 2:25 PM in response to BCinNYCby Bkklein35,so far my issue has been resolved my Wi-Fi has not exhibited the problematic behavior since September 23 so 4 days. The only device I had the issue with was my 64Gig iPhone 6. the steps I took to resolve my issue were recommended by an Apple advisor who walked me though the process over the phone. In total is took about an hour.

Sep 30, 2014 9:36 AM in response to @nkitby dj Black,Same issue with my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.0.2). Lose WiFi connection at work every couple days. Have an iPad Air running iOS8 that does not have the problem. Once I notice that my iPhone 6 is showing LTE when it should be showing WiFi, I can check the Wi-Fi settings and no networks show up even though there are at least a dozen that should be available. Rebooting the phone seems to be the only solution. (Turning on/off Airplane mode has not worked for me.)
I have found that if I just leave it alone, eventually it will "fix" itself, but I'm using up data in the meantime.
