iPhone 6 plus doesn't change orientation on home screen and messages

I've had this happen to me too. The only way I've found to completely resolve it is to Power down the iPhone (slide to power off), then power it back on, and things work. I hope this is something that gets resolved soon.

I found out there could be several problems. One, you need to open the compass and calibrate it because the part inside the phone isn’t working properly. Two, the orientation lock is on. Slide your finger up from the bottom of the home screen and on the top right is the orientation lock. Unlock the orientation. Three, the phones home screen may be locked like mine was on my Iphone 6 plus because when I first got it I said to zoom the screen. Go to settings and find the display and zoom and switch to standard and click set on the top right. It should go black with the apple symbol and come back. Go back to the home screen and try it. If it does not work, make an appointment with Apple because the part inside may not be working to sense which way is up.
