Q: can not charge my ipad or connect it to a computer .. tried everything is my ipad toast ?

can not charge my ipad 2 or connect it to a computer .. all my other devices work just fine .. i can use the same wire on an ipod and it works fine i'm using the original charger .. i even tried a new one ,, and a new wire ..
