Oct 17, 2014 1:24 PM in response to PaulMorariuby mbutzke,I know that if you share a photo album you can get all the pictures with the effects on iCloud. But I don't get why, many pictures get the resolution reduced a lot (around 640px).
I want to print the pictures from my trip with the effects, so sharing on photo stream doesn't work since the quality goes bad for printing. I feel bad having apple doing this...

Oct 17, 2014 1:35 PM in response to PaulMorariuby léonie,Anybody managed to do this except mailing it to yourself (which is not a viable option)?
Unfortunately. mailing the photos is the only option now, if you do not want the reduced size by sharing using a shared photo stream.
Here is Apple's explanation - it is the "expected" behaviour:
iPhoto and Aperture don't have edits to photos you import from iOS 8 devices

Mar 29, 2015 2:29 PM in response to PaulMorariuby klyper,An other method that works to quickly transfer a lot of pictures to your pc:
- Open a dropbox account
- Install the dropbox app on your iphone
- Click upload files > photos > select all the photos you want to copy to your pc > Upload
- Copy them all at once from your dropbox folder onto your pc. The effects will now be applied on the photos.
! Do not use the carousel app of dropbox, effects will not be transfered !

Apr 26, 2015 3:11 AM in response to PaulMorariuby Pejik,As I mentioned in similar thread here:
Pejik (to AychAychAych)
I found a perfect solution for this. The app PhotoSync (http://photosync-app.com/photosync/en/features.html) that let you select if you want ios filters applied even though it perfectly keeps exif metadata and offers a bunch of other cool things (exporting back and forth between various services and protocols) that even made me improve my workflow (i now use it with Lightroom´s auto import feature so as soon as i get home, PhotoSync automatically exports all my new iphone photos to specific folder on NAS where it will be later autoimported by LR).
No need for a workaround by sending tons of images by email anymore!
