Nov 7, 2014 5:06 PM in response to curliecutiepieby GASusiQ,Just so you know...the 'tool' is on many of the other threads too...unfortunately. And there are a few others just as bad. I can't stand a 'know it all'...especially one who only blows smoke and doesn't offer any good fixes for our problems.

Nov 7, 2014 5:13 PM in response to GASusiQby bobseufert,Hold the phone there. No solutions ? StarTraveler has been offering very solid technological advice. If you don't want to hear that's a different problem.

Well, that's not the opinion of the larger group of users on this forum who gave me points for helping them solve their problems.
By the way ... how are you doing helping others? Don't tell me what you think ... just tell me what the other users on this forum think about it ... :-) ...

Thanks for the help. If I could award you points for that, I would do it right now! ... :-) ...

Isn't that exactly what one needs on a tech support forum? ... :-) ...

Nov 7, 2014 6:18 PM in response to bobseufertby GASusiQ,The solutions haven't fixed our issues. The 'tool's' help is no better than what Apple tech support told me to do. The 'fixes' aren't fixing. Apple told me to take my device in and pay a $249 fee for repair for something that wasn't broken until I did their update. And apparently to repair something numerous other users have the same problems with. It is funny that the only people in support of the 'tool' are those with many points and levels under their belt. Well...just like elections...those numbers can be massaged and fixed. So I don't know what type of deal you have or what type of comrades you all are...I call bullsh$t on it all. It even smells like that. Is it some secret club you have to try to see how many points and levels you can attain? Hope it makes you all feel better about yourselves. But I'm sorry...no one has offered a solution that fixes the problems I have. And if you go over every post in this thread you will find most feel the way I do about the lack of real solutions to our problems. Maybe y'all should go find another group with different problems to try to help and pad your point and status levels there.

SO ... you're mad that so many others have fixed their issues from our suggested solutions? Isn't that a bit selfish?!

Nov 7, 2014 11:28 PM in response to GASusiQby F1Mad,Just ignore him. His last few posts have exposed him for the troll that he is. Not worth wasting your time on. Let others give him the glory he seeks - his life is obviously very hollow without the virtual points and "thanks" that he receives on this forum. He's probably upset because he knows there's no solution to *this* issue so he can't get more points.

Well, I certainly do wish you would STICK TO the Terms of Use for this Tech Support forum, and stop writing these ridiculous statements to me.
I see you missed my earlier post to you, so I'll quote it here so you don't have to look for it.
Quoting from up above ...
I find that people respond and reply to what they wish to reply and respond to ... and when they do that, it's an indication of what they're interested in talking about.
SO ... in that light ... I would suggest that you simply post on either (1) a described problem that you have, or (2) a provided solution you have which another user can implement.
IF ... however ... you wish to wax eloquently on Apple's policies or business practices or "give Apple your mind" or tell some conspiracy theory about what Apple is trying to do ... I am MORE THAN HAPPY to weigh in on that ... :-) ...
__________ __________ __________
To translate it MORE CLEARLY for you, if you stick to the TERMS OF USE for this forum, that's all you're going to hear from me. BUT if you start weighing in on ridiculous off-topic statements and ridiculous and imaginary theories, you won't hear the end of me!
HERE IS the relevant section of the Terms of Use ...

Nov 12, 2014 1:30 PM in response to TheHajby cbk76,I waited to upgrade to ios8.1 hoping the bugs would be worked out, but this Copy / Paste bug is a work stoppage issue for me. I use both my iPhone 4S and iPad mini for work, and neither will copy and paste text - instead I get a paste of text I copied days ago. It's a huge issue. If anyone has a suggestion for where to submit this bug report to apply please let me know. I did not read all 16 pages of replies but the fact that 192 other people report having this issue too makes me wonder *** apple is doing? Copy / Paste is a pretty basic function. Yikes.

Nov 12, 2014 7:29 PM in response to TheHajby Shopie~,Having the same copy/past probleme on my ipad mini 64g. It's driving me nuts! Tried to find where to report this problem, but it seems like Apple does'nt want feedback from it's users since I haven't been able to find a way to do so. Very frustrating!!!! Small consolation, clearly, I'me not alone experiencing these problems
