Oct 3, 2014 7:18 AM in response to Kdnevilleby jaalburquerque,The bug seems to be related to Safari (and apps which possibly use some Safari API to provide web content, such as possibly the Facebook app). I tried using just the Dolphin browser when trying to copy/paste links, etc. as suggested by a previous post (assuring that apps relying on some Safari API, including Safari itself are not running) and I have experienced no problems with cutting/copying/pasting. It is only when cutting/copying/pasting from Safari and apps like Facebook (which possibly use some API related to Safari to provide web content) that the bug appears again.

Oct 3, 2014 8:04 AM in response to jaalburquerqueby woodyrich,I've, too, leaned toward a Safari relationship with the issue. I've also been using dolphin as browser and if I try to cut paste from dolphin and paste into FB it's still the "old stuff" in the clipboard. That said, I'm using dolphin browser to access my FB acct versus a FB app simply because of how IOS 8+ is eating RAM. I'm now into teens and low 20s of RAM and have to constantly keep opening up Smart Memory to free up memory. I've kept my apps down to 3 added to my iPad after I restored as a new iPad. WWhen I free up RAM I am able to gain back approx 250-300 RAM.
There is definitely a relationship issue. I can successfully cut paste what I want into a chat message and into email. If I try to cut paste into FB .... It's the old stuff in clipboard. It's not recognizing that the data has successfully been copied and pasted elsewhere Outside of FB.

Oct 3, 2014 11:09 AM in response to TheHajby davidfrommanteca,Same problems here with iPad mini. Can't understand why Apple doesn't fix the problems. They should update from ios 8 to ios 7! I thought Apple made a good product. Now I'll go back to Windows or start using Android devices.

Oct 3, 2014 12:15 PM in response to TheHajby kimraadt,I upgraded to the OS 8 and ran the 8.0.2 update. I had to reset everything, twice, because nothing was working properly (slow as molasses, photos wouldn't post in Facebook, Safari kept crashing, etc.)... then had to completely restore my iPad because everyting went haywire when I went to sync with iTunes. The 8.0.2 update seemed to fix the problem with adding photos to Facebook posts. However, I cannot copy and paste anything successfully anymore, which is a major problem. TEST YOUR UPDATES BEFORE YOU RELEASE THEM, APPLE!!!!! I am SO frustrated with this crap every time there is an update!!!!!! Android here I come...

Oct 3, 2014 1:51 PM in response to kimraadtby davidfrommanteca,Luckily I didn't have any problems upgrading but this copy & paste issue along with the sluggishness is unacceptable. If nothing else, APPLE should let us go back to iOS 7! At least it was relatively fast and the copy and paste worked.

Oct 3, 2014 2:04 PM in response to davidfrommantecaby dexipur,Off topic...did anyone possibly notice that photo to wallpaper is working now?
Just pic a pic and home screen or lock screen it and you're in with no silly blow ups
or readjusting 20 times in an app to place it acceptably.
Must have reduce motion on I'd assume as I never left it on since day one.
Not much but at least it's something.....

Oct 3, 2014 2:26 PM in response to dexipurby dexipur,More bad news! Just found out that iOS8 is killing my VPN again; one that I finally got to work on ios7 too.
I turn it on but soon as I go to site it drops it like I never turned it on at all; not cool...
Would have found out sooner but I haven't been using it lately. I'll try new perimeters later and see if
I can get it to work again....THANKS bunches APPLE

Oct 4, 2014 11:24 AM in response to TheHajby Niclet,Count me in!
iPad 2, either under 8.0.0, 8.0.1 or 8.0.2, the Copy-Paste issue is present.
Very disappointed. Please Apple, fix this basic function!!!!!!!!!

Oct 4, 2014 4:18 PM in response to TheHajby Skateroo,I held off installing IOS 8.0.2 on my iPad 2 but then there were those that were urging me to do so as it was the 'right' thing to do.
Well .. I'm not able to use copy & paste either ... thought I'd try cut & paste but it doesn't work either.
The old information that I'd copied is there & doesn't want to leave ;((
Apple ... what are you doing to us?

Oct 4, 2014 6:26 PM in response to Skaterooby Skateroo,I've just found a fix to my problem. I thought to go into settings & when I did I noticed that photos, music & videos were still loading. I found this strange and started to try and open something in each of those categories & I did without an issue. When I returned to settings they were no longer loading but indicated the number within each category.
Because of this I then thought to try the 'copy & paste' feature and it WORKS !!!

Oct 4, 2014 8:47 PM in response to Skaterooby womandi,@Skateroo - you got lucky that time. Give it a few times or a full day, then come back and tell us if it's still doing it again.
-
Oct 5, 2014 3:01 PM in response to Skaterooby davidfrommanteca,I'Ve noticed the "loading" issue before and thought it was strange. Now I can't find it in "Settings!" Where did you find this? I know it's there but I can't find it now.
OK, now I found it but it keeps saying "loading." How did you get to stop saying "loading?" I opened some photos, then a couple of videos and then played some music. Still says "loading."
-
Oct 5, 2014 4:15 PM in response to davidfrommantecaby Skateroo,Although it would stop loading after I had opened either a photo, video, etc. in no time at all it resumed it's nonsense.
I'm really VERY disappointed with what Apple as given us to work with !! Shameful!!

Oct 5, 2014 8:00 PM in response to Skaterooby Niclet,I understand your frustration Skateroo, but can you at least tell us, for the community, where in "Setting" did you find the loading thing please.
Thanks
