Receiving My Family's Phone Calls? IOS 8

So, to begin, my family is all using the same Apple ID (could be the problem, but I dont see why).

We have all just recently updated to IOS 8. I made sure after updating to turn off each others phone numbers when it came to imessage and facetime settings (so we dont get each others texts and facetime calls).

But now, everytime one of us receives a phone call, we all do. As soon as one of us answers, it goes away, but I really need to find a way to turn this off. I've searched all over the internet and can't seem to find anything.

I don't want someone else to accidentally answer a phone call intended for me, and I don't want to accidentally answer someone else's phone calls.

Is there anyway to get rid of this?

iPhone 5, iOS 8

Family Sharing is great in premise but it was only just implemented. Many people have had to stare the same ID in order to share purchases for years now.

I've often thought that Apple is not a family focused company. They have made it easier and easier for an individual to live immersed in an Apple ecosystem but not necessarily for a family to do that. The long time it took for Family Sharing is an example. The horrible set up for Contacts when it comes to families is also an example. The fact that Family Sharing completely ignores contacts is just one more. Apple has a lot of great strengths but that isn't one of them.

As for the OP's issue, I am having the exact same problem. Going to try the suggested solutions and see if that helps. Already tried turning off Handoff and that didn't do it.
