So because it doesn't happen to you does that mean everyone who has a problem is imagining it?

Strange that on IOS 8.3 Apple stated one of the fixes was for Wi-Fi. Which has worked for some people, but not others. So even Apple are admitting there is a problem

Unfortunately I have a couple of those bugs myself and one that you did not report regarding the Photos App (I have an open ticket with AppleCare, issue at Engineering now).

 

Regarding the iCloud storage bug there is a Level 3 user that started a thread on this:  iCloud Total Storage incorrect

and there is a Level 10 user, Demo with 83,000+ points reporting that he has the bug himself....

Surely not - expert users do not have problems

Not really, a problem with hardware may not have happened with IOS7 but a "feature" of IOS8 has caused the bug to surface. Many pages back there was a suggestion that a component (not made by Apple) might not be up to standard. That could also explain why not all users have the problem as the part in their device may have been from a different supplier

After upgrading to iOS 8, performance of iPad is very erratic. We don't have any solution and feel like throwing the pad. I have no solution. I hope, Apple will take this on top priority and remove the bugs from the software on top most priority

You would think but they seem more interested in swamping new features on iOS rather than fixing bugs. New features are good but many are pointless and I would rather core functions worked as intended. iOS 8.4 for example, its main aim to is to change the music app - so I doubt much in the way of bug fixing will be in that as this was priority. It's my opinion but did the music app really need changing about? Wifi should be one of the highest priorities.

Only when thy are genuine, then we fix them.

It's a question, looking for the info on differences between cases, something that you clearly care not about.

It does not mean what you interpret it to mean.

If iOS users weren't having WiFi problems with iOS 7.x, but are experiencing WiFi problems with iOS8.x, either Apple needs to fix the problem or they need to provide their user base with a definitive explanation of what is causing the problem and how to fix it.  Users should not have to be left on their own to determine a resolution for a problem that was obviously created by this iOS update.

 

I had the same problem when I first updated to iOS 8.  I mucked around with iPhone settings, WiFi settings, etc.  I no longer have a problem, but I have no idea what fixed the problem... was it a settings change... was it an iOS 8.x update... was the sun emitting an excessive number of mystery particles at the time?  I have no idea what resolved my issue, but Apple should and they should be able to educate their users on how to resolve the issue.

Are you saying that the posters who have fixed their issue are somehow mistaken, and they really haven't fixed it?

Thanks for the roundup, it seems that many posters stopped complaining and did something useful instead. They are the ones without the problem.

SInce I had the factory reset done, it's been as good as new with no WiFi-issues or slow connections neither at home or on the mobile connection (that I'm using now.) I have not restored the backup I made before the reset, so I did it as "set up a new iPad", and then I just put back on the apps ai use the most via App Store. Perhaps it used some stored network settings in some file on iOS 7 that when upgraded to 8.x did not work as intended, and performing the factory reset and setting it up as new wiped out all traces of any such thing and allowed it to set up network-things "the iOS 8 way".

Tryed out a lot of the fix but had to do complete restore to fix my wifi problem.

my problem is resolved with out doing a restore.  I did further research and decided to try it.  Did a reset of the network settings on the ipad, shut it down, rebooted my wifi router, restarted the ipad and then reconnected it to the wifi network.  Three days later and no more dropped wifi.
