Mail freezing on iOS8

Mail freezing on iOS8. Have reset router, reset iPad (new air) network settings and did a full system reset/ reinstal. Still freezing. Receives Mail but freezes when trying to read them. Ideas?

My mail totally locks up afew seconds after opening the mail app.

I Have about 5 email accounts, so it's under a little load, but this never happened under ios7, and it's an iPad air, so it shouldan'the be happening.

Mi new iphone 6 running latest version of iOS 8 Has locked Mail. I did a hard boot and it worked for 5 seconds. Can't do anything with Mail at all. i am using a third party mail app too. It works, but is limited. Bluetooth cannot find any devices, it found my Mac, but it doesn't work. I think ios8 has some serious issues. Mail worked on 5S on latest version of OS
