Q: iPhone 6 slow to zero data on wifi

I'm experiencing similar issue on my new iPhone 6 (64Gb, Silver), when I tried to access campus wireless network (802.1X, WAP2 Enterprise), the network went very well at first, however it ceased after a while.

Then I have to close the wifi toggle and connect, it works again, but after several minutes it happens again ...:-(

HOWEVER, my roommate's iPhone 6 (64Gb, grey) works perfect without any problem.

Tried literally every methods on the internet but did little help (reboot, reset network setting, switch DNS...). I don't know whether it is a router problem or my iPhone 6 problem.

If this continue....

I want a replacement before 14-days policy expire...

have you ever tried to connect to another router ?

I fixed at my job at least, have a dual band router there, by switching from the 2.4ghz band to the 5ghz band. Speed is up to normal now. Now problem still arises at home where I only have single band router. Apple better fix soon, shouldn't have to lay out $$ for a new dualband wireless router just to get wifi on your brand new phone.

Same model? I connected to another router haven't found the same problem yet...

I don't want a replacement if I could because it takes time and I have no alternative phone right now.

iphone 6 (16gb) has extremely slow wifi, what's the... is goin on? Its slower to open pages compared to my old galaxy s3. Hope its that the new ios 8 software issue.

Thanks for your info., I'll check the band frequency with my computer when I get back to apartment tonight. I'm here using a 5GHz environment without problem.

Mine is so bad I'm using LTE and surely burning through my data plan.  Apple, how much extra money is this going to cost me?

Just switched from WEP to WPA2 and it seems to have resolved the issue.  For now

i have the same problem as well. wifi is connected to wifi, it is going very slow.

Yes,switching to a WPA2 connection worked for myself as well. Hope Apple solves the issue with WEP with the next release.
