Sep 23, 2014 11:11 AM in response to CatherineWalksby somersetwhisky,My option has also gone, and the badge is annoying me, I want it off as I usually use a 3rd party Twitter app, and just have this one installed as backup for occasional use, I don't need it nagging me.
To be frank I'm not going to reset my phone and reinstall the app etc etc, that's just such a long winded load of rubbish, it should just work... it's quite obviously a problem for others... glad it's not just me.

Gotta love the entitlement!
Why aren't you saying this to the twit developers? This app isn't an Apple product.

Sep 23, 2014 11:26 AM in response to modular747by somersetwhisky,I have indeedy posted to the Twitter folk too, fingers crossed eh.
However, it's still worth various people reporting it in here to build a consensus that it is indeed a problem so that as others Google to find the answer and end up here can see they're not alone.

Sep 27, 2014 7:14 PM in response to mooch82by modular747,Restore with iTunes (see my earlier post), first also using a backup and if needed without the backup. It's possibe that there is corrupted data/settings in the backup causing the problem.

Servers EnterpriseSame problem for me. iOS 8.0.2, latest update for Twitter. Missing slider switch. For not I'm just ignoring it hoping that Twitter fixes this problem. But it's annoying.

Sep 30, 2014 12:58 PM in response to CatherineWalksby beargeek,I turned off badge app icons this AM for Twitter. This afternoon I noticed that I was getting badge app icons again. I went into Notifications and found that the option for Badge App Icons is now gone. I am on iOS 8.0.2 and Twitter was updated yesterday, before this issues started happening for me.
