There are no MAJOR issues to fix. There are a half billion iPhones in use. Most of them have no problem with WiFi. If yours does there is something wrong with YOUR PHONE or the way you are using it. What did Apple say when you called them or visited an Apple store for help with this problem?
BTW, this is a user-to-user technical support forum. Apple doesn't read it or respond in it. So your threats are seen only by other users, who really don't care what you do.

Running iOS 8.1.2 on a new iPhone 6. Trying to connect to my home wireless router - getting the same error message.
Worked all of the online suggestions on this Apple site and web in general. Talked with Apple support for 20 minutes. Apple had me connect to another wireless router (iPhone running personal hotspot) which would work. Apple said obviously a router problem.
While my other phones and devices could connect to the router, the new iPhone would not. The problem: router had Access Control on. My NetGear R6250 blocks even the guest access in this mode. The new phone's MAC had to be entered into the Access Control list. Once entered, phone connects without issues.
That may be why your other devices connect and the new one doesn't. Or why your new router, without Access Control on, works when the older router would not.

Does the same thing on the Bluetooth in the car. I don't understand why Apple hasn't addressed what is obviously a flaw with the phone or the operating system - when everyone is having the same problem it seems pretty evident that there is something wrong on their end. Anyway, I called Apple, did the reset - also did some other privacy settings that were recommended by others as possible solution. Nothing worked. Then I got to thinking that every morning my phone has been kicked off wifi and is back to data - and it made me wonder if something that happened at night was the issue. Well, I have my phone set to "do not disturb" at night so I don't hear the constant ping of emails. So, I shut that off, and guess what, this morning my phone was still in wifi mode! Which solves one problem, but means I can't use the "do not disturb" feature anymore and have to remember to turn off the volume before I go to bed. As someone else mentioned - they charge you $600 for a new phone and it doesn't even work right? My old 4S worked better than this!

I finally went into my router settings and manually selected a different wifi frequency. This fixed the problem immediately. I live in a multi-family building and I think that band crowding was the problem.

Jan 19, 2015 12:40 AM in response to Joewp3by NusaDua,It's wonderful that one of the posts above is from a guy who argues that there a a half billion iPhones that work fine, but no matter what I try, going on week after week, my iPhone 6 does not find WiFi hotspots while my MacBook Air displays --in the very same place where my iPhone is-- a long list of them.
1- brand new iPhone 6
2- I often switch the cell phone signal to OFF or to 2G / Cellular data OFF to save battery life
3- Turn on WiFi
My phone constantly cannot find the WiFi offered by the restaurant, coffee shop, etc. I'm sitting here with my MacBook Air easily finding a whole long list of WiFi hotspots while my brand new iPhone 6 shows exactly zero signals.
This happens day after day after day in all kinds of different places.
When I do a complete power off / power on, it will find the list of signals but just now when I stopped to ask the staff for the password and opened the screen again, all the network signals were gone again. This is not just a single occurrence. It happens over and over.
I'm using iOS 8.1.2 (12B440)

I called them three times - they claimed they have had NO calls about this issue and they are unaware that it is a problem. I told them they might want to read their OWN discussion boards.They made me reset my network settings - that didn't work. Then they made me reset my phone to default settings - without bothering to tell me not to restore it with a backup - and that didn't work either. Then they had me restore the phone as new - spent hours getting the apps and my work email all setup again - and that worked for about two weeks. Now it's still disconnecting randomly and can't find the wifi network unless I reboot. My IPad and IPod are running on the same software and they do not have this problem, so I have to believe it's the phone. I guess my next step is getting a new phone, which will require hours getting setup again - and from what I've read, getting a new phone hasn't helped either. I don't think Apple will ever admit there is a problem with the phone - can you imagine how much money it would cost them to replace all those IPhone 6's with updated models? I love the new phone, but I am extremely disappointed that it doesn't work correctly and there appears to be no solution for fixing it.

If you bothered to read the comments, you'd see that replacing the phone has not helped those who tried it.
I found this thread because I have the same issue. It's probably related to some particular router settings, but it's pretty irritating that iOS has issues with this whereas all other devices since forever do not. Wifi is basic functionality. My neighbor also has an iPhone6 and he gets the same error when trying to connect to my wifi-- incorrect password.
It would be nice if Apple would take responsibility for the issue and provide an official response.
