The new iOS have replaced the camera roll by recently added in which pictures taken within a span of 1 month are visible..i have over thousand photos but can send only recently clicked photos in whatsapp....there is no access to older pictures...i think apple should fix this as soon as possibe....should add "Camera Roll" folder back and remove the existing annoying pattern of photo storage..

Whatsapp released a fix last night which has resolved this issue.
I am facing same problem. It's not just old photos its new photos too which whatsapp can't acess on iOS8. I received and image in my email today which I saved(this too has become a challenge in iOS8) to my phone. The image is in my photos but isn't availabe via whats app. Any clue?
Can anyone reply on this?? where is the Apple customer service?
IF u try to change the profile picture u can access all images...the only problem is while sending pictures to someone u chat with...
