Q: Are you allowed to mention 'iBookstore' in your book?
I have read somewhere here that having the phrase 'iBooks" featured in the content of your book is not allowed and will result in your book being rejected. Are you allowed to use the word 'iBookstore'? As in "Other titles available from the iBookstore' in the body of your book? My books contain printables designed to be sent to others who may then like it and want to look for a copy and I wanted to include this phrase on the printables so they would know where to look for it?

iBookstore is registered to Apple One of these registrations may be viewed here http://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4805:zk3zez.2.1
It is OK to use someones trade mark to indicate that your product may form an accessory to or be used with some else's products and service but you cannot hold out the mark iBookstore as being yours. You should include some notation which indicates that the trademark iBookstore is a trademark of Apple Inc. You may search for US trademarks at http://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=tess&state=4805:zk3zez.1.1
For example it would be OK to say that your book is available for download in the iBookstore* (iBookstore is a registered trademark of Apple Inc)
