Every time I click I get a menu!

Hello

I want to find a way to control the menu's that are appearing when I click with my mouse. They come whether I right or left click.

I tried system preferences but there is only tracking scrolling and double clicking options.

The most useful tool on the magic mouse used to be when i right clicked it would correct spellings for me.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

Go to Systems Preferences > Mouse > and check the box marked Secondary Click by clicking on it. An x will appear. Then go to something you have written, like a email, and click on any word. Your drop down should appear.

Thanks so much for your help seventy one. Yes that has sorted out half the problem easily!

So now I need to know how to restore a function that I used to find so helpful. When I type an email or a document, if I have spelled it incorrectly I used to be able to right click on the highlighted mis spelled word and it would give me an alternative spelling. Would love that back! Can you help at all?
