Sep 21, 2014 2:30 PM in response to Old Toadby laf54,Thanks - this explains it - but my photos app never changed. I guess I've never had an app that said iPhoto. When I open my iPhoto on my mac I do not have the option of migrating. I've opened my photos app and still no option. I've searched for iphoto on my mini and iPhone and there is nothing.

Sep 23, 2014 11:53 AM in response to Old Toadby kammies,That's fine, but I want my "events from my mac" in alphabetical order, I really don't care if my collections/memories are in "chronological" order and not alphabetized. Just like they were in the last version...

Sep 28, 2014 1:14 PM in response to laf54by erniejohn,I have the same issue with the alpha sort of my Events not working when Events are synced from my Mac to to my iPhone.
However today I discovered that if I Edit a Contact to Choose a Photo, my Events show up on my phone in alphabetical order. So the Events names sort by alphabetically is on the iPhone but not showing up alphabetically in the Photos App>Albums>Events From My Mac. Seems like a bug that I hope Apple can fix soon. Does anyone from Apple scan these boards?

Occasionally.
But it is much safer to send feedback using the feedback form, if you want the developer team to see your feedback.

Nov 9, 2014 5:26 AM in response to léonieby DanaElizabeth,I agree, I just want 'Events from my Mac' in alphabetical order - it's impossible to find the event I'm looking for now. Since I can't easily find my events, does anyone use the 'search'? I've used it several times to search the name of the event I'm looking for and have had no luck using that either. Is this a bug or is the 'search' in events not searching the event title?

Jan 27, 2015 12:58 PM in response to DanaElizabethby sixthstreet,D- I've noticed that the search doesn't access photos, so you can't search by name or other string, sadly. If search accessed photos then searching by a tagged face would be very easy. This, along with the inability to view faces alphabetically are two of my biggest frustrations.
