I have an Apple TV and watch Netflix through it. Netflix has been working OK but last week I have been getting the HDCP playback error and don't know how to fix it. My TV is a HDTV Toshiba 32BV700B. I've tried reconnecting the HDMI cables and still the same error. I have updated my Apple TV with latest software and done a factory reset and still get the same HDCP playback error. Is it my TV that is causing the problem? Please help, thanks.

Any cable will do, as long as it's not one of the really cheap ones. The reason I suggest is yours may have become corrupted. You could also try another TV or have the unit tested by Apple.
My blu ray player is also not appearing on the HDTV, I don't get any picture/top menu. Do you think there is something faulty with the TV or both the HDMI cables?
If the BLU Ray player is also having the issue then that would more likely be the TV.
