Q: White screen on boot?

Hi all,

I need help!

Whenever I start my computer, it does the startup chime and everything, but after that all I see is a blank white screen. What does this mean? I thought that reinstalling OS X would work, but I don't have a copy of Leopard... (that's what's on there right now.)

What could this mean and how can I fix it?

I read the article, and I made sure everything was okay. Right now I don't have an OS X install disk with me, so could there be any other possible solutions?
In the meantime, I'll see if I can get my hands on one.

I'm afraid not. Without an installer disc there is nothing you can do except repair permissions with Disk Utility. But that isn't going to solve the problem, I'm afraid.
