so far, after what you advertised as the biggest roll out ever for the App store, I am not sure if any of the supposed new great features work on a regular basis, constant close app. reboot device,, uninstall app then re-install app,,I am sorry Apple,,,this is garbage so far! maybe in several months after bug fixes it might be good, but for now,,,junk!
iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.3
Perhaps I am lucky that in the literal 15 times I have attempted to update to iOS 8 to my iPhone 5 that it failed each time. Several times it has started but citing durations that have ranged from 17 hours to 61 hours. However, it always faults or fails in the process. I have attempted it wirelessly and via iTunes on my Mac Book Pro.
The same thing happened to me. But it did work in the end. But this was a BAD move. This will be the last update I will perform on my apple. too bad I was enjoying my ipad mini, now it's buggy and slow.
