iOS 8 Traffic Conditions Widget does not appear

You may have to adjust the Privacy settings on your iPhone before Traffic Conditions are able to be displayed. You can find that and more information about Notification Center in the iPhone User Guide that is linked below.

Note: To include traffic conditions for your commute (iPhone 4s or later) in the Today tab, make sure Frequent Locations is turned on in Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations.

Shut the phone off and turn it back on.

I have also tried all the sugestions listed here and trafiic is still not showing in notification center. I checked with everyone I know that has an iphone and after following the set-up instructions here Traffic did not show up on their devices either. Can any confirm that it is working on their device? I'm thinking it's just not working period.

I saw it work once and it has not worked since. My settings are also correct. I juat deleted my location information to see if resetting that will help.

As Aepple has already stated, it will take a few weeks before the iphone learns your location behaviors. Give it about three to five weeks and it will work. There is nothing you can do until then.

To further answer your question, the traffic condition widget is designed to give you an estimate as to how long it will take for you to get to a place that you normally would be. Example, if you work in Atlanta every tuesday at 6pm the iPhone will begin telling you "it will take about 30 mins to drive to Atlanta."

Again, the device needs time to learn your daily habits. Once it learn where you normally are at all times of the day, then the widget will work. See the picture below.

How long should it take? I've had my iPhone 6 since the day it came out and it still doesn't show me travel times on frequent locations.

it has been a few weeks now and my 6 just started to give me ETA of my destinations. Give it a chance to learn your travel patterns, like work or common destinations.

I am thinking there is a bug. On my iPhone 6 the Privacy -> Location Services -> System Services -> Frequent Locations - > History has "Home" clearly labeled as 25 visits and "Work" clearly labeled as 19 visits. These span from 9/26/2014 - today 10/10/14. So, Location Services obviously has my work and home figured out correctly. Regardless, this feature still does not work. Barring some magical hold down timer, it sure looks like a bug to me.

yesterday it showed me how long it was going to take me to get to work and how long it was going to take to get to a restaurant I go to on Thursdays. For some reason it didn't show how long it was going to take me to get home at the end of the day. Weird

Well, at least yours is working some of the time. It would be nice to have some hope that it might work. I checked a few other iPhones at work and so far no one's is working.

I got more than 68 locations "learned" by the phone, still does not display Traffic Conditions. It's def a bug. 4 Other iphone 6 users have the same problem in the office, but not the ones with the 5s.
