iOS 8 music album covers missing

I just uploaded ios8 for my iPad and iPhone5s, and I turned it off and on. The covers just says the title of the song in a 45 degree angle with a black background, but still plays the music.(already existing music on the phone) I'm not sure if people are also encountering this; but this did happen to me in an older update way back when iPhone 3G was popular. I have forgotten how I fixed it, but if this is a wide spread issue I think apple would make another update. Help! Thanks a lot!😕⚠

I don't know if the fault lies with IOS8 or with the latest Itune update.

I deleted and re synced all my music and it wirked fine for 24 hours. The next time I plugged it into Itunes, it deleted the lot again.

This was after updating to IOS8.0.2

I've been that annoyed with it that I'm considering doing somthing that I previously thought untinkable..............going over to Samsung!!

Me too! still no improvement after IOS 8.1 seriously annoyed, i have paid for artwork and its not transferring from itunes to my phone, even though i can see it in itunes, it just wont go onto my phone and i must have tried everything, even the apple tech guy i spoke to on the phone says it seems to be a bug, that should be fixed with ios 8.1 ...............but no!

MASSIVE APPLE FAIL!

Still no permanent fix even after 8.2. The above solution is only a temporary fix. After a few days the same issue comes right back. Getting pretty tired of these bugs.
