Mac Mini 2011 SSD Upgrade

Well, I've made quite a foolish mistake, I was working on my Mac Mini 2011 and attempting to do an SSD upgrade. I followed a video on how to do it. In the video, the fan connector to the mother/logic board pops off, leaving the other part on the mother/logic board. I kept gingerly tugging at the wires in the direction the video stated, but it would not come off. I ended up pulling the entire connector off. The machine will still boot but I know that it's not a good idea to use it. Please tell me how I can fix it or who can.

Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)

Are you saying that you pulled the connect that was solder to the logic board off?

If so then somebody very good at soldering may be able to fix i. Otherwise you have to replace the logic board. Might be better to just purchase a used 2011 Mini

Yes, I pulled the connector off the logic board. How much do new logic boards cost? Can I do it myself?

Powerbook medic lists the 2011 Mac mini Logic board for $339.96:

You should look around to multiple sources before making your decision.

Are there any "redneck" fixes you know of? A new logic board is a bit pricey, I might as well buy a new computer. I've seen fans attached via velcro but do you know any fixes that let you close the computer?
