had the same experience with the Australian guy. So sad that Apple is not taking any reactive action against the same complaint that was highlighted many months ago. Else it could have prevented the bad incident.

What complaint was that? Clumsiness and excitability are not Apple's fault. If one pays that much for a properly packaged item then one should take extreme care with it.

As a matter of fact, I'll sue them if their brakes doesn't work as what it is design to be. You dont design a brake to look pretty, do u?
same as a packaging, think carefully what is the purpose. If the design does not protect the phone from jumping of the box, does it serve it's purpose? That's a main flaw in this box which I consider it as product defect. The box is a part of this product, don't I guys think? Or just to look pretty. 🙂
Hopefully you purchased AppleCare with your new iPhone as the out of warranty replacement fees are quite expensive.
