Q: I delete some albums from iCloud but they are still there in my iPhone and iPad

I'm having iTunes Match turned on on all my iOS devices.

And I deleted some albums from iCloud via iTunes on macbook today, but the songs are still there in all my devices.

I can even delete them again on iOS by swiping left, and then there're download icons appears next to these items.

According to this article iTunes Store: How to delete songs from iCloud they should gone away from my devices, right? Is this a bug of iTunes Match or maybe I do something wrong?

Won't be able to help you here since I came looking for an answer to the same question. I believe there is an issue with either itunes or ios 8 implementation of itunes match. But I am seeing the same thing, so it's not just you. It really is annoying and the only way I've found to fix it is to turn off itunes match and then back on. But that brings issues of it's own, so...

Hopefully someone can come by and help or confirm it's a known issue and will be fixed soon.

I am having the same problem since upgrading to iOS 8. Any song I delete in iTunes will not disappear from my cloud in the iOS device. I agree that the only solution right now seems to be too turn off iTunes match then turn it back on and wait for the sync to correct itself. It is very frustrating.

To those of you who turned iTunes Match off and back on: Did it take the same amount of time to turn back on as when you first subscribed?  The reason I ask is that I have about 70 GB of music in my library, and it took about 60 hours (yes, two and a half days) to analyze, match, and upload.  I want my problem to go away (songs deleted from iCloud to disappear from iPhone also) but I don't want to go through another 60-hour matching session.

When I turned mine off and back on, it didn't delete the music from my phone. It was all still there when I turned match back on. Granted, most of my music was in playlists though. But it didn't delete the music already downloaded. Won't promise anything though!

I have around 2GB in my library and it usually takes less than a minute to match (nothing to upload).

You'd better take a look at the progress bar when you update iTunes Match next time. I guess uploading part of some items take a lot of time.

However I do delete some music from my iCloud library, and then turn-off-back-on. The deleted items are gone from my iOS devices.

I figured it out xD I just went to Settings, iTunes & App Store, then under where it shows my apple ID there is a section that says 'Show All' then I turned off music. I double checked and it worked

It's great that this workaround does it for now, but the issue still needs to get fixed. It used to work perfectly in iOS7, albums deleted from the cloud disappeared on my iPhone in no time. So why the problems now all of a sudden?
