Q: Enable/disable LEAP on iOS

This article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6441 says that the 802.1x security issue (the first one listed on the page) "was addressed by disabling LEAP by default". OK, that sounds fair enough, but some people do still need to connect to old LEAP networks.

How do you enable/disable LEAP on iOS 8?

I have tried looking through the settings, and not found anything that looked relevant. I have searched around on the Internet and not found anyone explaining how this can be done. Apple do say they have disabled it "by default", NOT that they've pulled support for it, so I presume it can be re-enabled somehow. Until we can fix this, iPhones and iPads that upgrade to iOS 8 will evidently not be able to join older corporate networks still using LEAP.

I am wondering the same thing too. I am a Network Tech at a Hospital We use LEAP for authentication. SO far I seem to be the only one using the new ios8, but all of our ADMIN'S have company iphones. I can no longer access our wifi because of LEAD being turned off by default. I ask the same question. How do we turn it back on on the ios8. This is going to be a huge problem very soon. Help please!!!!

The Documents say it is disabled by default.

So it must be give a way to enable this.

Must we use the ProfileManger ? to enable the LEAP ?
