Q: iPhone 6 is not working for calls with uconnect?

I cleared all devices on the my uconnect and then I paired with my iPhone 6.  I was able to play music through the bluebooth.  When I make a call, I start it through the uconnect. It will search the address book, dial out, but then after the first ring, it says call completed. When in fact, the call is still active on my phone.  I also tried to start a call from my iPhone and that still did not work. The uconnect did not pick up the fact that I started a call.

I know it is not an iOS 8 issue because I was able to use my iPhone 5 with iOS 8 without issues.

First off, thank you to Tflemin2 for his hard work on finding the culprit of this longstanding issue with Bluetooth disconnect.  I have also tried the iCloud sign out solution and it seems to work with the iPhone 6S on iOS 9.0.1.  I contacted Uconnect Customer Care and started a case on the issue and was told that they no longer offer support for the radio.  I was surprised to hear that since these radios were still in production until 2013.  I contacted the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration and informed them that Chrysler stated that they will not offer any more support on this issue even though a potential fix is available.  Hopefully something happens because of that.  There is nothing companies hate more than a document trail showing they could have fixed an issue but didn't.

YYou should also inform them that they have the ability to enable the use of Siri through their system but they won't update it. There is a guy who sells a modified firmware for UConnect that will let Siri work with your car. Actually if I use Siri to text my wife just before I start my car and turn it on, I will be able to use Siri for that interaction and after that, no dice.

I had the same issue with a 2015 Dodge Ram. My solution was to download and install a Uconnect software update. All works fine now. You should be able to do this from home or have the dealership install.
