Mail, AppStore, Safari all crash after OSX 10.9.4 upgrade

I recently updated to OSX 10.9.4 and began having problems using native Mail client, AppStore and Safari. All crash upon trying to open.

Crash Dump shows as follows:

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to go about resolving this?

Any help is much appreciated. I am not much of a troubleshooter on MBP, since I bought it in 2009 "it just works..." (until recently)

10.9.4 or 10.9.5?

Try running the combo update.

10.9.4 Combo Update

or

10.9.5 Combo Update

Eric,

Thank you for your help. I downloaded the 10.9.5 Combo Update.

When I went to install it, the installer crashed.

Try downloading it again. That one may have been corrupt.

Eric,

Tried again, both versions, got the installer crash again. When I run a disk diagnostic and verify permissions it all checks out ok. Not sure where to go from here.

Do a backup. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Then re-install the OS.
