As of iOS 8, the tool bar auto-hides when you scroll down. Tap on the address bar, or scroll up to expose it.

Safari now uses full screen mode. The toolbar will reappear if you tap the top of the screen or if you pull down from the top. If that still doesn't show the toolbar, you may not have it enabled. Go to Settings>Safari>Show Tab bar>On.
Thank you for your response. May be I am mistaken , I was looking for TOOL BAR like I see on my Mac like:
safari edit view history bookmarks
May be this feature is not on IOS devices
What you are referring to is the Safari Menu on the Mac, not the toolbar. There is a difference between the two. There is no menu on iOS devices.
Any way to turn this off?
tool bar disappears but bookmarks does not, not even after selecting a bookmark.
Do Apple even have focus groups?
Settings app > Safari > Show Favorites Bar [turn OFF].
And no, Apple does not use "focus groups". If you wish to offer feedback, you can do so here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/
If you mean that you are seeing the list of bookmarks on the left side of Safari, simply tap the bookmarks icon in the toolbar to toggle the bookmarks list/window off and on.
Thanks
Thanks, but it didn't help.
NAvigation bar dissapears and bookmarks do not. They should have used focus groups for this. Worst change in a browser ever.
For software development, focus groups are worse than worthless. They are only good for marketing, if that.
If you mean the icons that appear on the screen if you do not have a tab open, this isn't new. They were there for 7 and possibly before. Not sure why this causes so much angst, but there is a workaround:
If this isn't what you are looking for, perhaps you could provide a screen shot or more detailed explanation.
I think the question is, can AutoHide be turned off so that the navigation bar stays displayed?
Which has been addressed. No.
This "feature" of auto hiding the the tool bar is defiantly NOT useful to everyone using Apple products. It might be of use when using an old iPhone with a screen that is the size of a match box, but I have an iPad Pro. The screen is huge. Gaining an extra 7mm at the top of the screen is of no benefit to me, I get to see one extra line (if that) of text at the bottom of the screen. Losing the back button is an issue, as I WANT IT TO STOP DISSAPEARING, and do not need the the tiny little bit of extra space I gain when it's gone. Apple, remember, not all your devices have tiny tiny screens.
