Bluetooth devices not working with ios8

I have a number of small Bluetooth speakers ~2 years old, that now connect with bluetooth to Ipad2 but only static comes out. I have 4 of the same units and all are doing the same thing? So far they work with the iPhone 5s with is but not with the ipad2 with ios8????
