Can I share contacts with another Apple ID (spouse)

I Would like to use the new iOS 8 share capacity but want to share my contacts with my wife. Is there a way to do it automatically, so that whenever one of us enters a new contact, the other can use it too.

currently we are using the same Apple ID on both iPhones / Ipad, computers to have this possibility.

We would like to differentiate the accounts so that we can enjoy some freedom but the contacts are crucial...

iit would be so good to have the option to share automatically photos, key chains, documents also...
