I Tried all of the steps suggested and it still does not work. I pray for a quick Apple fix.

Same issue with my iPhone6 plus and Lexus 350. Phone works fine but no music. AppleCare said I needed to update firmware/software on stereo and my Lexus dealer said there are no updates available. I've tried everything! I'm talking to the dealer's 'technology expert' today so fingers crossed he has a solution.
