Oct 7, 2014 11:44 AM in response to Mac4Lifeby artysan,To all whiners, complainers, gripers: You have succeeded in polluting this technical forum with the sheer volume of your unhelpful and inappropriate posts, making this area unusable for those looking for solutions, and there have been very effective solutions. It has been explained to you where they might do some good and why they don't belong here. Please accept these facts and reconsider what you are doing.
Yes, the 3G dropping must be fixed by Apple and I'm confident it will. Btw, I do not work for Apple.

I do not consider legitimate complaints to be a gripefest. I have an ipad2 which operated perfectly well before upgrading to ios8 and ios8.0.2. My device is slow. Lost the ability to use GSM service with AT&T since upgrading. The copy and paste can only be used by rebooting after each use. Apparently the clip board only clears after powering off and rebooting. I get an occasional error within safari also. It is standard practice in software upgrades to be able to go back to a previous version of software if something doesn't go right after installing a new version. I bought this Apple product because I believed their claims of being a superior company and product. Hardware is no better than the software it runs.
What have you done to resolve the issues?

Oct 7, 2014 11:58 AM in response to artysanby P. Aaron,
Considering the damage this upgrade did to folks across a wide spectrum of otherwise content users, the concerns and complaints posted here are a completely natural and understandable consequence. This forum offers many upset users an opportunity to lay this 'upgrade' fiasco as near the company's doorstep as possible.Your upset at having your pristine forum set upon by whiners & complainers is a rare event. It will go away and you'll eventually be here alone...contented to restructure your domain inviolate.

Oct 7, 2014 12:44 PM in response to P. Aaronby mr88cet,In my view, your frustration is not unreasonable, but I don't think Apple looks here to hear of that. I recommend all - and I do mean "all"! - concerned complain at http://www.apple.com/feedback/. I have reason to believe they do listen there, because they have implemented some suggestions I (and probably others) submitted there.
-
Oct 7, 2014 12:49 PM in response to allyrobsby mr88cet,I myself have never gotten a reply from feedback, but I have seen some of my suggestions implemented. You might get to talk to an actual live person via AppleCare, though.

Do you mean the feedback link that displays this message?
"We read all feedback carefully, but please note that we cannot respond to the comments you submit."

Oct 7, 2014 1:22 PM in response to allyrobsby Dracofear,They do not reply to feedback, they just acknowledge it and forward it to the engineers, we are not "apple defenders" we are normal people with half a brain, who understand that nobody is perfect, like I have stated before we offered you solutions to fix this, if you choose not to try to fix it that is nobody but your problem. So please, if you are not here to try and fix your issue just go away. If you want to talk to someone at apple that can help you, contact Apple Care, they deal with technical support.

People are reporting the same issues with IOS 8 on their brand new devices. This is why the update was pulled. Brand new iPhone 6s with similar issues, right out of the box.
Let me guess. You saw that on the Internet so it must be true, right?
-
Oct 7, 2014 6:45 PM in response to Philly_Phanby Dracofear,Actually, that one is true, apple released iOS 8.0.1 and almost right away pulled it off cause it was screwing with data usage, they fixed all that in 8.0.2 and pulled it almost soon as it was released, but still, they fixed it, so what makes them think apple won't fix this? It just may be more complicated then we realize. I'd like to see any of you people complaining try to code software to work with 12 different device and not make any mistakes.
