iPhone 6 Plus Volume

Me too, I tried almost everything, until I used a piece of facial cotton, with a few drops of alcohol(those for nail polish) and clean my earpiece. Now I have to tune down a little bit of my volume. You may try this, it might be some ash or dirt blocking the earpiece.

I just tried the method of using a acetone fluid and wiped the earphone slot then used a pin to free some of the mesh - now much louder - had to do about 10 times with acetone and earbud. Will need to do more times but has got better

I have rest all the settings, then restore my phone as new with iTunes, and with this the call volume issue got resolved.

Steps;

Take back up of your iphone.

Do reset all settings

Connect it to iTunes, perform restore phone as new.

For anyone reading this my mother Blake had this problem. Tried the q tip soaked in alcohol (not dripping) cleaned the volume port at the top a few times. Had makeup in it . After a few times trying this it starting working again.

The punctured hole is just a little bit bigger than the existing earpiece tiny grill holes, I don’t think that will destroy the phone if you are careful enough while making the hole.Moreover you are not puncturing the earpiece , you are puncturing just the grill which covers the earpiece.My device is already more than 3 years old and this method worked perfectly .Another workaround is to disassemble the phone and clean the ear piece grill blocks if the blocks cannot be removed using alcohol swab.

I was able to solve the problem With official apple Music app (install from apple store if you dont have the icon on homescreen)

Go to Settings -> Music -> Volume Limit -> Off

I went there, and then saw that my noise cancelling button was on, so I shut it off and that seemed to help (but not cure). Anyway, it is hard NOT to look like a twit at the Apple Store.

My iPhone 6 Plus volume was fine until I updated to iOS 11.0.3

Did u or anyone else sort this? After trying everything on the thread in the end I took the phone back to apple and the poor volume was caused by blocked speaker vents. The staff cleaned with a brush and compressed air and it now works perfect

iPhone 6s Plus Low Volume When on Call

I am having problem of low volume when on a call. Cant hear clearly. What to do? .. i want Rise Up Volume

Device: iPhone 6s Plus

Capacity: 64GB

Color: Black/Space Grey

I do the same thing as well. Hold it close to the mouth.
But In Loud environment, I either use headphones or put it on speaker.
Have you found any fix for this?

I purchased iPhone 6 Plus last week and have same problem.

Probably woth small puncture your device will destroy soon..
