Q: Can't connect to airport wifi with new MacBook - not accepting password

I'm setting up a new MacBook. I am trying to connect to the existing Airport wireless network. I know I am using the correct password but it won't accept the password. My iPod Touch is connected to that network just fine (where I am writing this.)

What do I do if I know I am using the correct WEP password and it is not working?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the Mac is not connecting to a WEP network. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

WPA2 Personal (AES)
