I am discontinuing use of my Iphone 4S and have purchased a Moto G. How do I transfer my contacts from Iphone to Moto G?
iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.2
Transfer the contacts to the computer and then find a way to get them to the Moto. Does the Moto use Android or Windows? If Android, then you can always move your contacts to Google account and then sync to the Moto.
Syncing them to a computer, exporting them from the program on your computer & importing to a google account would work.

Chris forgot to tell you this is an android phone.
You can sync contacts with iTunes and select your Google account. I don't use one, so it is a little past me to do Google, but I do know how to use iTunes. Maybe someone that uses a Google account can jump in and provide a little more help, but it really isn't difficult and then once you get the Moto phone, you just log into your Google account, select contacts and they appear.
What type of computer do you have?
If it runs Windows, what version of Windows is it? (XP, 7, or 8)
Also, do you have Microsoft Office installed on the computer?

Chris: When you talk about logging into my google account, do you mean my e-mail?? I have an ITunes account also. I really appreciate your help as I said I am really lost on this.

Lisa: I use Windows 7 and I have Microsoft word.
Chris j4203 is also trying to help me, but he said he's not good with google. People keep saying to log onto my google account and the only one I have is g-mail but I don't think this is the one everyone means.

If you have a gmail account, you're halfway there - mail is just one part of what you get with that account.

Yes, your gmail account will be the one you can do contacts with. Again, someone with more Google experience can provide help with that. Good luck.
