IOS 8, Safari and pdf hyperlinks

Hello: I'm sure this is a bug, so I have reported it in "feedback." Unfortunately I cannot access the bug reporting option since I am not a developer. However, this is my frustrating observation (since my entire website depends on hyperlinks in pdfs):

clickable hyperlinks do not work in Safari on pdfs IOS 8. The links work using Chrome, they work from the public folder I have in DropBox, so I have determined it is a Safari issue. This is the page I used to test:

Has anyone else seen this? Or is it still too early to tell...

Wow....turning off website restrictions worked for me. I'd spent weeks deleting and reinstalling apps....this worked like a charm. Thank you!!!!

Yeah - same here - no restrictions were enabled - and your links do not work on my iPad.

Sadly - for now - we have to install Google Chome browser and Microsoft's new Outlook app (bought from Accompli) - then we set the mail up, and the Outlook settings in the app allow us to choose a default browser - so we set that to Chrome - allowing the user to read email, click links and browse in Chrome...

Then we hide Safari and Mail app in a 'Do Not Use' folder.

Ridiculous.

iPad in the Enterprise - not so much.

It does work properly on the iPad by opening that document in iBooks.

Today I upgraded ios to 8.3, and it seemed to me this problem has been fixed now.

It is a very long time since the release of iOS 8.0, anyway thank you for fixing it, Apple's team.

Yes, it seems fixed in the 8.3 version. Its too late for me because we built a native viewer and switching between safari and native app. Useless fix in terms of loss we made.

That actually works!! But it seems to defeat the purpose of restricting website. Typically you will be prompted to enter a password to allow the viewing of the website, so I will assume that if you try to open a PDF file and somehow it is considered as "inappropriate", then it should at least give you a prompt to enter a password so you can access it.
