iPhone 4s slow since ios 8 update, can I revert back to ios 7?

I LOVED my iPhone 4s still after over two years...until ios 8. Now my phone takes forever to load safari, games, and really any app. Can I downgrade to ios 7? If so, how do I do it?

I was so excited to update to IOS8 but just after i did i was unable to boot my phone so i ended up in restoring it and unfortunately loosing lot of my pictures of size 30 GB.

After i restored it was notable how slow the OS works on the device, I was totally frustrated and almost lost hope and decided to live with it since downgrade is not possible. After lot of research and trails i ended up figuring it out in 4 easy steps.

I believe that there is notting wrong with IOS8 and this issue of being slow can be easily solved please refer to the video link below, it worked perfectly with me

Hi, I had a similar problem after updating to ios 8 on my iphone 4s. It seems like with ios 8's new feature of being able to reply to notifications "in-line" (like with message notifications) the ios 8 notification handling framework has become more complex and a bit of a burden for the earlier A5 processor.

I fixed the problem on my phone with the following procedure:

1. Launch settings and scroll all the way down to the bottom where the installed apps are listed.

2. Tap on an app to enter settings for that app then tap "Notifications".

3. Turn off the "Allow Notifications" switch.

4. Exit back out to the app list and do the above 3 steps for each app.

After doing this my iPhone 4s returned back to being as fast and responsive as it was before the ios 8 upgrade. I did not have to mess with transparency or animations or anything else.

Hope this helps!
