Keynote: How do I set the bullet list to dim after click?

In a slide, I have configured Build In of a bullet point list:

Text Delivery: By Object

Delivery: By Bullet.

Every bullet point is configured to "Start on Click"

However, I would like to dim every bullet point after I click for the next one. How do I achieve this?

I have tried the Opacity in the "Action" animation, but this would just change the entire bullet list to the Opacity level set. Not one at a time, after clicking

Please help.

Thanks

click on the text box to select, then

Inspector > Animate > Build In > Delivery: click the drop down menu and select; by highlighted bullet

Thanks Gary. It worked...partially.

This method seems to treat all levels of bullet points the same. Meaning, I am not able to highlight a bullet group (first level and sub-levels together). The "header" (First level) bullet point is dimmed when I proceed to its sub-bullet point.

But hey, the highlight delivery solved most of my problems. For highlighting a bullet group, I am now separating the bullet points into different text objects.

Thanks again!

Yes this is the correct behaviour, the effect is called highlighted bullet, meaning one line of text at a time is highlighted.

Your workaround is good practice as having different lines doing different things is complicated for the viewer to understand whats going on.
